Brownies are the ultimate celebration dessert and so much fun from start to finish. Everyone has their own brownie recipe and here is one of mine. Who doesn’t love warm gooey chocolate goodness straight from the oven?
Just imagine – Americans are the most significant consumers of brownies – we eat 1.5 billion brownies each year!
INGREDIENTS
• 1 1/4 cups cooked sweet potato
• 1/2 cup almond butter
• 1/4 cup almond flour
• 1/4 cup cacao
• 1/2 cup maple syrup
• 1 tbsp. avocado oil
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/4 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. baking powder
• pinch of salt
• pinch of cinnamon
• 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips (more if you love chocolate, and to sprinkle on top)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix all ingredients together in baking bowl.
3. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into 9 x 9 baking pan lined with parchment.
4. Top with more chocolate chips.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
6. Let cool for an hour.
