Florida Science Museum Sat. Feb 2, 2013 West Palm Beach The South Florida Science Museum will unveil its newest permanent exhibit, Science on a Sphere(SOS). SOS is a 6 ft. suspended globe with the ability to project real-time and historical planetary data. More than 300 data sets will be available to teach students of all ages. Viewers can watch 500 years of changing climate, the 9-month trek of a juvenile loggerhead turtle, or travel back to the time when the Earth’s continents were one large land mass. The exhibit will be on permanent display and is included in the Museum admission. Museum admission is: adults $11.95; seniors 62 $10.50; and children ages three-12 $8.95, children under three years and Museum members are free. ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival Feb 16-18, Jupiter The 28th annual ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, presented by Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, is an outdoor arts event showcasing a juried exhibition of outstanding fine art and featuring activities which include live entertainment, artist demonstrations, interactive art activities for all ages and a youth art competition.

Listed as one of the top 50 festivals in the country, ArtiGras 2013 expects more than 275 artists and 125,000 guests over the three-day holiday weekend.
