The sky will soon be filled with flying objects, from drones, to jetpacks, and even flying cars. Are we ready for this new flying age? Technology is on a super highway, with new inventions arriving weekly. It is bad enough we have dangerous drivers on our roadways – now we want
to fill the skies with some. Just like autonomous cars, which many felt
would not come to be, and yet here we are with them closer to reality
than fiction.
Managing the highways and now airways is going to be a huge challenge, because our infrastructure for this new wave is not in place – from training to licensing, keeping our airlines safe, and ensuring these flying machines don’t fall from the sky causing hysteria on the ground.
