The “Not my daughter, find a cure now” shopping boutique and luncheon promises to be a great day. Each $75 ticket guarantees a complete luncheon and the chance to shop the 40 plus vendors that day.
Vendors will be offering everything from jewelry to artwork to clothing and much more.
This year The Fashion Institute of Fort Lauderdale will be creating and designing a one of kind fashion show for the event!
All proceeds raised go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Affiliate, the leading breast cancer research organization.” The motivation and goal of the shopping event and luncheon is best summed up by chairwoman Denyse Hostig, “Not My Daughter…find a cure now” will be around until a cure for breast cancer is found, which strongly depends on the generosity of many to fund the research needed to achieve this goal. I do not want my daughter or future generations of women to endure the fear and trauma of breast cancer. Our generation can hope for a cure for breast cancer, our daughters’ generation can hope for a vaccine. My happiest day will be when our organization, can say, ‘we are done… there is a cure for breast cancer’.” If unable to attend the luncheon, donations can be still be made through the website which will be up all year round with future sponsored events posted. The event has sold out every year and are hoping for another sell out this year!
